(Length + width) divided by 2 = patch size

Fractions less than a half inch are rounded up to the half inch.
Fractions greater than half an inch are rounded up to the next inch.
Example: 4″ inches + 2.5″ inches = 6.5″ inches
6.5 divided by 2 = 3.25
Rounded up to the next half inch = 3.5″ inch patch size
Example 1 Highway Patrol:
4″+ 3.5″ = 7.5″
7.5 divided by 2= 3.75″
rounded to next full inch = 4″ patch size
Example 2 Driver Trainer:
2.5″+ 4″ =6.5″
6.5/2= 3.25″
rounded up to next half = 3.5″ patch size
Borders
Patches are manufactured with either a ‘Cut’ border, as seen on the tiger at left; a ‘merrowed’ border, shown at the center or ‘Laser cut’ like the Bee below.

Colors = 6 Each additional color will be an extra charge of .07 per color per patch.
